NTIA Releases New Broadband Adoption Report
NTIA and the Department of Commerce's Economics and Statistics Administration (ESA) released a report, “Exploring the Digital Nation,” that analyzes broadband Internet adoption in the United States. The report analyzes data collected through an Internet Use supplement to the Current Population Survey (CPS) of about 54,300 households conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau in October 2010. Regional Broadband Investment Plans Update
The team at ConnectingALABAMA has developed drafts of Broadband Investment Plans of each of the 12 regions, and after considerable preliminary work and numerous meetings, draft broadband investment summaries and plans have been reviewed by the Regional Councils of Government as well as the Broadband Action Teams and are now available for review and public comments. We appreciate all of the input and feedback received in creating these plans, which are tailored to each Region, but that can be implemented in other areas if so desired.
